Here we are mid-year. The weather has been crazy this year, from tornadoes to lots of days missed because of the cold and snow! These kinds of things play a big part in our progress at school. It is of the upmost importance that we consider student safety above everything else, so missing school is sometimes a priority. On the other hand, missing so much school get kids out of the routine and causes tests and schedules to be off. This is always the hardest part of the year for me. It is the time when we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Half of the year is gone and now we have our eyes on the prize! So, it is imperative that teachers and students alike are on their A-game. We have a goal in mind and we have got to stay focused, do our best, and be at school as much as possible.
